STILL COACHING

WHAT IS STILL COACHING?

Still Coaching is a small group supervision and business development community for coaches who want to grow their practice and their business without compromising who they are.

It runs as a six-month cohort - the same group of 9 coaches, meeting up to three times a month from May to November. That consistency is deliberate. The kind of honest, exploratory conversation this space is built for takes time to develop and it develops best when you're with the same people.

Each month includes a 90-minute group supervision session, a 90-minute business development session and a 60-minute learning session, alongside a community space and growing resource library on The Portal between calls.

Still Coaching is led by Sarah Fox, EMCC Senior Practitioner and EMCC and AfC accredited coach supervisor.

Monthly Development Support

Support on growing your business in a way that aligns with your values and without the need for aggressive sales tactics or misleading marketing. We’re all about slow growth.

Monthly Learning Session

A one hour session that explores a particular topic related to coaching or the business of coaching. First up we have a session on using the PERMA+ model in coaching, followed by a session on Transactional Analysis. These will be run by me or guests and some sessions have been left open to respond to the topics and ideas that the group have.

Monthly Supervision

Develop your reflective practice, receive supervision and gain insight into your coaching practice.

A community of like-minded people

A virtual space to connect with peers in between sessions.

All hosted on The Portal

Be not afraid of going slowly, be afraid of only standing still

What people say:

Developing a coaching business can be a lonely pursuit. The balance of supervision, business development and connection has been so helpful. Sarah holds the space in a really considered way.

Rosie Stanbury

I joined Still Coaching because I wanted a calm, thoughtful space that aligns with how I want to run my business and who I want to be as a coach. What I love about Still Coaching is that it's helping me grow both my coaching business and my practice in a way that feels authentic and sustainable, without exhausting myself trying to do too much.

Louisa Daubney

Sarah has an open, honest and gentle approach that guides and allows me to be real in a world where it often tough to manage remaining authentic. I've gained confidence in choosing my direction, putting myself and my needs first, navigating professional boundaries and ethics and I've really enjoyed the sense of community and arriving to the same friendly and supportive faces month to month.

Our approach:

Here are 10 principles that reflect what this community stands for:

1. We start with service
We believe the best way to grow a coaching business is by showing up fully for our clients with skill, presence and care. Coaching is a practice of listening, trust and thoughtful support.

2. We choose integrity over hype
We reject the toxic trends of the coaching industry including misleading marketing, inflated promises and pressure to scale at any cost. We are guided by honesty, ethics and fairness.

3. We honour slow growth
We believe strong businesses are built over time. We value steady, meaningful progress that creates deep roots, and we resist false urgency.

4. We welcome exploration
We believe coaches need time and space to evolve. Whether you’ve found your focus or are still experimenting, we resist narrow definitions and allow room to grow.

5. We prioritise community over competition
We know coaching can be isolating, but it doesn’t have to be. We create spaces for support, collaboration, shared learning and collective care.

6. We invest in supervision
We believe reflecting on our practice is essential to becoming better coaches. We prioritise regular supervision and ongoing professional development.

7. We grow our businesses with integrity
We believe it’s possible to attract clients in ways that align with our values. We focus on ethical, sustainable approaches that feel congruent and respectful.

8. We treat coaching as a lifelong craft
We believe coaching is a practice that deepens over time. We’re committed to learning, refining our skills and developing mastery not for perfection, but for meaningful impact.

9. We work for fairness and contribution
We believe coaching can be a force for good. We aim to build businesses that sustain us and contribute to a more just, caring and equitable world.

10. We welcome all coaches
We value diversity in background, training and experience. Whether you’re new or seasoned, accredited or not, in any sector or setting, you are welcome here.

I’d love for you to join us if you are someone who…

FAQs

Who is this community for?
This is for coaches who want to build their business with integrity, deepen their craft and receive supervision without the pressure to niche down, scale fast or follow toxic industry trends. Whether you're new to coaching, need a reset or looking for a values-aligned space, you are very welcome here.

Who is this community not for?

It isn't for people looking for quick wins or high-energy business communities. There are good spaces for that and happy to recommend but this isn't one of them.

Do I need to have paying clients to join?
No. You can join whether you're in training, just starting out or already working with clients. You do need to be coaching though and have something to explore in supervision.

Coaching is only one part of my business. Can I still join?

Absolutely. I’m the same. I’m a coach, mentor, supervisor, trainer, facilitator, podcaster and my business reflects this. You might even be employed alongside your coaching practice, that’s fine too.

I see you’re an EMCC coach but I am accredited with ICF or another body, or am not accredited at all. Can I be part of this?

Absolutely. One of the things that the current cohort have appreciated is that we are not fixed on one membership / accreditation body and this makes for a richer discussion. We currently have a mix of EMCC, ICF and non-accredited coaches.

How is this different from other coaching memberships?
Lots of memberships focus on sales and marketing. This space prioritises being a great coach first, ethical business growth and community support.

Will this help me get more clients?
We explore sustainable ways to grow your business that align with your coaching values. There are no aggressive sales tactics here, just real conversations about what works and how that might be different for everyone.

What if I can’t make the live sessions?
Live attendance is encouraged but we know that life happens too. Supervision and business support sessions will not be recorded as confidentiality and safety are paramount. Learning sessions will be recorded.

What is The Portal?

The Portal Collective is where we host Still Coaching. It’s a digital neighbourhood for enriched learning and communing journeys, beyond noise and attention metrics. Founded by Sally Burns (you can hear her tell me the story of why she set it up HERE), it’s a space away from the big tech bros and there are loads of brilliant people thinking about how we can navigate this world in a better way.

What if I can’t afford the standard rate?
We offer a Solidarity Rate to make this space accessible. If you need additional support, reach out, we aim to keep this community open to those who need it.

I want more support than this. What do you offer?

If you want deeper support, you can:

  • Book a 1:1 supervision session - contact me HERE, my rates are £150 standard and £100 solidarity.

  • Join a small group supervision session for six months, just get in touch using the link above.
