Do Good and Do Well workshops 2024

For pro-social individuals who want to increase their contribution to positive social change and improve their personal wellbeing.

Work with me in 2024 to explore how you can do good and do well in your work.

This series of workshops responds to three challenges I notice in my work:

1.     Lack of clarity around vision and mission – there are SO many ways you want to help make the world a better place and it can feel overwhelming and put you in a place where you feel helpless and stuck.

2.     Self-doubt and feeling like an imposter so that you’re not always feeling that you’re best placed to lead and influence any of these changes. Instead, you stay quiet and don’t tell people about how good you really are.

3.     You do so much for other people and are often putting their needs above your own. Sometimes you feel on top of things – you look after yourself and get what you need, but more often you feel depleted and exhausted and wondering what you’re working so hard for little return.

How will attending these workshops help?

These workshops will help give you a sense of clarity on what you can put your time and energy into. This isn’t about ignoring everything else, but instead knowing that you can’t fix it all but you can do something that counts. They’ll encourage you to recognise what’s stopping you and what you can do it about, working to your strengths and growing in confidence to lead and influence. You’ll learn about boundaries and how to set healthier ones, you’ll feel better about asserting your own needs and have more energy and optimism for the work and life you want to live!

About Sarah

I am a do-gooder, unashamedly earnest and recovering people pleaser. Sometimes I do good and do well and sometimes I don’t: I’m a messy human being. I am really good at creating workshops where you can get curious about yourself and your work and I’m great at bringing my skills as a coach, mentor and facilitator together. I truly believe that my clients have everything they need to make a positive difference in the world and that can help to create change without losing themselves in the process.

I’m founder of Do Good and Do Well. I worked in education, arts, housing, and the charity sector for over 20 years before I became self-employed.

I’m a mum of two children (12 and 13 years) and live in Ramsgate, Kent.
