Viv’s Journey in Lasting Impact

Viv works in the museum sector and has started a new chapter after being made redundant.

Viv worked with me for over 6 months, choosing the Lasting Impact programme as a structure to work with.

I chose to work with Sarah as I negotiated the uncertainties of redundancy and unemployment for the first time. I had always cherished my work-life balance but in the wake of redundancy, I was questioning my previous choices.

My work-related confidence was very low but my sessions with Sarah made me more robust and creative in looking for employment opportunities.

I liked having the structure of the Lasting Impact programme with the flexibility to go in different directions depending on what was happening in my work and life at the time.

Since the course, my attitude has shifted, rather than life happening to me, I'm proactively working out what I want and how I can effectively work to influence that outcome.

Sarah is incredibly easy to talk to. In normal life I'm not a great 'sharer' but I found lots coming out in our sessions. She is very perceptive and noticed the way I talked about certain subjects which helped me better recognise the things that are important to me.

Sarah is professional and has a clever, kind, and encouraging way of making you look in the mirror and not dodge tricky questions.

I would definitely recommend Sarah’s services; the coaching has been transformative for me and the Lasting Impact modules were brilliant.

Lasting Impact takes place over 6-9 months and include:

·       12 hours of 1:1 coaching (online or f2f options depending on location)

·       8 Modules or ‘topics of enquiry’: Self-study videos and reflective workbooks (attach image), following what you need and want to explore.

Lasting Impact is for freelancers and founders who want to increase the social impact of their work and improve their personal wellbeing.
